Additional General Manager (Projects), Orissa
Mining Corporation Limited, OMC House, Bhubaneswar – 751001, is planning to develop
a stand alone Iron Ore Mining Project with Ore handling Plant and Mechanised
Wagon Loading System at its flagship mines at Daitari (150 km from Bhubaneswar
and has invited Request for Qualification for selecting a Mine Developer cum
Operator (MDO) through Competitive Bidding, to carry out following jobs:
1. Development and Mining of 2.5 MTPA Iron Ore
2. Design and Construction, Operation & Maintenance of 2.5 MTPA Iron Ore Handling Plant (OHP) including Crushing, Screening, Conveying and Mechanized Wagon Loading
3. Development of new Railway Siding near Daitari Railway Station
4. Construction, Repair and Maintenance of all the facilities to exclusively used by MDO

1. Turnkey Project for MDO
2. Water and Power to be provided by OMC at specified points under chargeable basis
3. No Land and Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) issues for bidder
4. Capital Cost of OHP to be reimbursed by OMC to MDO
