TENDER OPPORTUNITY FOR PROVISION OF 4D SEISMIC SURVEY – MONITORS 1 & 2 (USAN-CT-096) FOR USAN DEEPWATER DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
1. Introduction
TOTAL E&P Nigeria Limited (TEPNG) invites interested and reputable contractors with suitable equipment and relevant experience to tender for the USAN 4D seismic survey covering an area of approximately 400.7km 2 and including an optional 4D undershoot of the field facilities (an FPSO and an off-loading buoy) on OML138 Deep Offshore Nigeria in an average water depth ranging between 730 and 850 m/MSL.
2. Scope of Work
Contractor would be required to acquire a conventional 4D (USAN monitor 1 and monitor 2 six months after) seismic data and to perform dual vessel operations in order to undershoot USAN facilities. Contractor shall be able to provide:
- A well equipped modern seismic Master vessel having the capacity to tow 6 to 10 streamers of 4500 m with 100 m separation (Streamers equipped with steerable birds preferably), dual airgun source with total volume not less than 3400 cubic inches operated at 2000 psi for an acquisition bin size of 6.25x25 m.
- A well equipped modern seismic source vessel equipped with the same source as the recording vessel
- On-board processing -Contractor’s experience in undershooting project in a similar water depth and environment shall be fully described.
- To be eligible for this tender exercise, interested contractors are required to be pre-qualified in the 3.10.01, 2D/ 3D/ 4D Seismic Data Acquisition Services category of the NipeX Joint Qualification (NJQS) Database. All successfully pre-qualified suppliers in this category will receive Invitation to Technical Tender (ITT).

- To be eligible, all tenders must comply with the requirements of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act, 2010. Non compliance shall result in disqualification from bidding for this opportunity.
4. Closing Dates
Only Tenderers who are registered with NJQS Product/category (3.10.01 2D/ 3D/ 4D Seismic Data Acquisition Services) as at June 11th 2011 being the advert close date shall be invited to submit Technical Bids.
