INVITATION FOR BIDS NO. EGAT 8/2554-NBCC 2 dated 27.07.2011

NORTH BANGKOK COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT BLOCK 2

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) intends to construct a new combined cycle power plant in Nonthaburi province.

The Contractor shall design, supply, customs clearance, transportation to site, construction, erection and commissioning of structural, mechanical, electrical and switchyard equipment and materials for a combined cycle generating block of not less than 2x375 MW and not more than 2x450 MW net power output at site condition. The generating block shall consist of two Trains. Each Train consists of one combustion turbine, one heat recovery steam generator, one steam turbine and one generator. The equipment being furnished shall be suitable for a transportation limits imposed by the site without reassembly of the combustion turbine rotor/rotor blades at the site to be identified as North Bangkok Combined Cycle Power Plant Block 2.

Bid Security :  - For Combined Cycle Power Plant (EPC) -USD 31,430,000.- or THB  970,550,000.-
- For Long Term Services Agreement (LTSA) -USD 3,174,000.- or THB 98,000,000.-

Opening of Bids : November 16, 2011.

Bidding documents in CD-ROM will be available for examination of Bidder’s Qualifications and for purchasing as from August 5, 2011 to November 4, 2011 at USD 6,500.- or Baht 200,000.- per copy, non-refundable at the following address:
