Canonsburg,
PA, August 29, 2011 – Aquatech, a world leader in the development of
wastewater recycling, reuse and treatment, announced its participation in the
upcoming Shale Gas InsightTM 2011, the first conference of its kind to be
sponsored by the Marcellus Shale Coalition in Philadelphia. The event will be
held September 7-8 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Aquatech’s exhibit
booth will be #409, where company representatives will be on hand to share the
latest information on the successful operation of Aquatech’s environmentally
compliant and proven MoSuiteTM portfolio of wastewater treatment solutions
for shale gas operators.
The
full range of MoSuiteTM system includes MoTreat®, a mobile pre-treatment
system for removal of total suspended solids (TSS); MoVap®, a mobile industrial
distillation system for removal of total dissolved solids (TDS); a modular
industrial distillation system for removal of TDS; and a modular crystallizer
for producing beneficially reusable salt products, thus reducing the disposal
of salts to the underground disposal wells. The salt products are suitable for
reuse commercially, including future drilling and other oil and gas operations.
Aquatech’s mobile and modular wastewater treatment technologies can be used
separately or combined to ensure that treated waters reach ultra-clean levels
so that they can be reused or returned to the environment in compliance with
National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits.
“We
are very excited to be a part of Shale Gas Insight 2011TM,” said Chuck Kozora,
Regional Business Development Manager at Aquatech. “The timing for Aquatech
couldn’t be better because we will be able to share the latest news on the
performance and success of our mobile wastewater treatment solutions for shale
gas in the field.”
Aquatech’s
mobile solutions enable the recycling and reuse of flowback waters at the
wellhead, satellite or central facility reducing the levels of fresh water
required for the hydraulic fracturing process used in shale gas exploration. By
reducing the overall volume of freshwater on the well pad, Aquatech helps
reduce the amount of transportation required for water delivery and removal.
Depending
on client need, MoTreat® and MoVap® can be configured in conjunction with other
mobile, modular and central treatment options to provide a complete solution to
handle drilling waste waters, flowback and production brines. Because MoSuiteTMsolutions
are mobile, they can be transported to virtually any well pad, satellite
facility or a central facility. In addition, the company provides easy access
to turnkey services that include full maintenance, trouble-shooting and a Shale
Gas Team accessible 24/7/365. Globally, the company treats over 600,000 barrels
of produced water per day.
