The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received a
Loan from Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Pakistan EEIP
National CFL Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan
to payments under the Contract for the supply of Compact Fluorescent Lamps
(CFLs) of the following specification:
Voltage Tolerance = 200V to 250V.
Wattage = 20 to 23 W.
Luminous Flux = Minimum 1,350 lumens
Lamp Life = Minimum 10,000 hours.
Warranty = Minimum 24 months.
This contract will be jointly financed by ADB & the Agence Francaise de Developpment (AFD). The eligibility rules and procedures of the ADB will govern the bidding process.
The Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) the
procurement agent acting on behalf of the Purchaser, the Ministry of Water
& Power (MOWP), now invites sealed Bids for supply of Compact Fluorescent
Lamps (CFLs)- Package 1 (10-millions CFLs) from eligible Bidders should have
supplied at least 5 Million CFLs per annum during last three years under
International Competitive Bidding Process.
Bid Document Fee: Rs. 5,000/- or US $ 67/-
Sale of Bid Documents: 23 September 2011 to 03
November 2011.
Last date of Bid submission: 11:00 AM on 04
November 2011
