GSECL proposes to set up a coal based super
critical power plant at Wanakbori, Gujrat with an estimated gross output of 800
MW at site conditions. The plant would operate as base load station. The power
from the project would be sold to GUVNL under PPA.
The bidder shall be responsible for the Design,
Engineering, Procurement and Construction single point responsibility turnkey
contract for 800 MW Coal Fired Supercritical Power Station at Wanakbori TPS,
Kheda District, Gujarat, India. The bid ("Bid") must be submitted in
a sealed cover containing separate envelopes.
Tender papers and specifications may be down loaded
from GSECL Web Site www.gsecl.in & www.gseb.com. All the tenders shall be received
to Chief Engineer (P&P), Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd. Vidyut
Bhavan, Race Course, Vadodara-390 007 through Registered Post A.D. or Speed
Post or courier or hand delivery as per the last date of receipt of bid which
is 15.10.2012 up to 14 Hrs (IST)

1. Technical Eligibility Criteria:-
Bidder shall be either (1) Manufacturer of all
super critical equipments OR (2) manufacturers of one super critical equipments
& associates with Manufacturer of other super critical equipment OR (3)
manufacturer of sub critical equipment & associates with manufacturer of
all super critical equipments OR (4) EPC organization with power plant experience
& JV of manufacturer of all super critical equipments to manufacture in
India OR (5) JV consortium between Indian promoter with manufacturer of all
super critical equipments for manufacture of super critical equipment in India.
2. Selection Process:-
The bidder shall prior to submitting the expression
of interest ensure that they meet stipulated qualifying requirements. Bidder
shall furnish supporting documents in this regard in a separately sealed cover
superscibed as “Qualification Document” on or before the date stipulated as
below. GSECL reserves the right to qualify/disqualify any/all the bidders
without assigning reason, at any stage, till releasing the order. The decision
of GSECL in this regard shall be final. The Tender Document will be sold to qualified
Bidders only.
3. The bid documents may be collected from GSECL
Office at Vadodara by paying a sum of Rs.2,50, 000/- (Rupees Two lacs fifty
Thousand only) by Demand Draft only in favour of “Gujarat State Electricity
Corporation Ltd” payable at Vadodara.
