Tender Brief: The Government of The Gambia has received a grant from the African Development Bank (ADF) toward the cost of the Trans-Gambia Corridor Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract for construction of Trans-Gambia Bridge and Tolling Facilities. The National Roads Authority intends to prequalify contractors for the construction of the 942m Trans-Gambia Bridge which is expected to be built in pre-stressed concrete. The works also includes construction of high embankments (over 250 000 m3) on swamps and installation of tolling facilities. It is expected that Invitations for Bid (IFB) will be made in July 2013.
