Scope of Work/Description:

The brief scope of the Services to be performed by Contractor under QP's Corporate Well Log Database Project (CWLDB)phase IV -Well Data and Well Log Processing, for about six hundred (600) wells, include but not be limited to the following: a),,Contarctor shall capture basic geosciences and petrophysical data from well reports in digital form. Geosciences data shall be captured in specialized data templates for loading into MS Office application files for inclusion in the CWLDB UNIX file system. b)Header data for each well log shall be completed in its entirety and corrected as compared to the paper copy / log image and then reformatted into a log format (DLIS) file for subsequent archival in QP's CWLDB UNIX file system. c),,RAW log data for each specific log type shall subsequently be edited, depth shifted and spliced using petrophysical processing application software to create single composite curves from the top to the bottom of the well borehole. d)Digital data (LAS well log files) resulting from two recently completed North Field studies (Waste Water Injection and Optimal Acoustic Impedance) shall be loaded into QP's CWLDB UNIX file system. e)Special Core Analysis (SCAL) data shall be captured in specialized data templates for loading into MS Office application files for inclusion in QP's CWLDB UNIX file system. f)Contractor shall deliver all geological and petrophysical data to QP on properly labeled professional-quality DVDs. The total Contract duration shall be thirty six (36) calendar months.
