Indian Railways, has floated a Global Bid Invitation for Supply of Design, Development, manufacture, Testing, Supply, delivery and commissioning of light weight fully furnished 750 Volt DC Metro Rolling stock (MRS) with 3 phase electric propulsion alongwith spares tools, documentation for use in Kolkata Metro along with AMC for 5 years after warranty period for components detailed in ‘Schedule of Requirements’ as per Specifications RDSO/ PE/SPEC/EMU/ 0030-2003(Rev.1) 2009 to be read with Addendum 1 (Revision 2)- Quantity - 14 complete rakes having 8 coaches per rake.
Cost of Bid Documents: INR 13,000/- or US$ 304/-
Bid Guarantee Amount: INR 2,000,000/- or US$ 47,000/-

Non-transferable Bid documents containing detailed description of stores, required as also other terms and conditions may be obtained from the office of the Executive Director, Railway Stores (P), Ministry of Railways, Railway Board, Rail Bhavan, Room No.341, New Delhi-110001. The cost of the Bid document (IN CASH) is to be deposited with the FA&CAO of any zonal Railway. The bid documents will be issued only on production of the original receipt thereof.
