Slovania Thermal Power Plant; Tender Invitation for Water Treatment System for the 600 MW Unit 6

SLOVENIA THERMAL POWER PLANT ŠOŠTANJ - UNIT 6 INVITATION FOR TENDERS FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR THE 600 MW UNIT 6 AT THERMAL POWER PLANT ŠOŠTANJ

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published on the EBRD website, Procurement Notices (www.ebrd.com) on 9.9.2010.

TERMOELEKTRARNA ŠOŠTANJ d.o.o., hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”, intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of UNIT 6 at THERMAL POWER PLANT ŠOŠTANJ.

The Employer now invites sealed tenders from contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:

Design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of plant and equipment for Water Treatment System for the new 600 MW Unit 6 at Thermal Power Plant Šoštanj and training of Employer’s staff.


Planned completion of work is March 2015.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee as follows:

-       for Slovenian applicants EUR 720,00 (VAT included)

-       for foreign applicants EUR 600,00 (VAT excluded)d completion of the Works is March 2015.

Tender documents can be collected latest until twenty (20) days prior to the deadline for the submission of tenders.

Tender offers must be delivered to the Termoelektrarna Šoštanj d.o.o. secretarial office (located on the third floor of the head office building) on or before 03.02.2012, at 12:00 hours, and they will be opened same day at 13:00 hours in the presence of those tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend and against their presentation of a written power of attorney for participation in the opening procedure.
