Nepal has received a grant from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Energy Access and Efficiency Improvement Project.  It is intended that part of this grant will be applied to payments under the contract named above. Accordingly, the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA, the Employer), has invited sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply and Delivery of 750,000 CFLs in 8 different locations of NEA stores under International Competitive Bidding.

A Pre-bid Meeting shall be conducted at the project office on 16 May 2012.

Sale of Bid Documents: From 17 April 2012 to 31 May 2012 and pay a non-refundable fee of 10,000 Nepalese Rupee or equivalent amount in Dollar

Last date of submission of Bid: on or before the deadline of 12.00 Noon on 31 May 2012

Bid Opeining: Bids will be opened on 31 May 2012, 12:30 pm at the Project Office in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend.
