1.0 INTRODUCTION

Universal Crescent Power Private Limited (UCPPL) has invited eligible National and International Bidders with requisite technical capability and sound financial position, to bid on fixed price basis for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction on single point responsibility EPC turnkey contract for Coal Fired Sagar Super Thermal Power Project Stage-I (2x660 MW) at Nayachar Island, East Midnapur, West Bengal, India as described below. The Tender under Re-Bidding must be submitted in a sealed cover containing three envelopes:

i) Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).

ii) Qualifying Requirements and Techno-Commercial Bid without Price.

iii) Price Bid


2.0 DETAILS OF TENDER

2.1 Bid Specification No: 10A04-SPC-EPC-001.

Cost of Soft copy of Bid Documents in PDF format	25000/ - (Indian Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) per set for Indian Bidders and US$ 550.00 (US Dollar five hundred and fifty only) per set for Foreign Bidders. Bidders who have purchased the Bidding Documents against earlier Bidding shall not be charged any amount for issuing Re-Bidding Documents.

Bid Security	Rs. 100 Million (Indian Rupees One hundred Million only) or US$ 2.165 Million (US $ Two Million one hundred and sixty five thousand only) by Demand Draft /Bank Guarantee.

The 2x660 MW power plant for which the bids are being invited under Re-bidding will consist of two (2) Pulverized Coal Fired Boiler units and two (2) Steam Turbine unit and the auxiliaries.
