India has applied for a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Himachal Pradesh Clean Energy Transmission Investment Program and it is intended that part of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract named above.

The HP Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (HPPTCL) has now invited sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

"Construction of 220kV D/C Transmission Line from Hatkoti to Abdullapur at 400 / 220 kV GIS Substation at Gumma (Pragati Nagar) on Turnkey Basis (Complete Package)" Under International Competitive Bidding nors in accordance with ADB’s “Single Stage: Two Envelope” Bidding Procedrue.
